Hey Fellow Cornholers,  

Are you ready for District Cornhole t-shirts?  Finally, after 3 successful seasons of "competitive" cornhole, District Cornhole will finally get the recognition it deserves.  

Its that time of year again, time to get registered for the upcoming season of Cornhole. The season will have 2 nights to chose from, Tuesday or Wednesday night and the league will start up March 15-16th. Spaces are limited so please get your team signed up TODAY!! Cost is $25 per person again, and if you have any problems trying to get registered just let me know and we will get it all worked out. You can pay by check at one of our upcoming registration happy hours or on the first night of league instead of paying online. The next registration happy hour is March 7th at First Down Bar and Grill in Clarendon.

Thank you all for coming out this season, I think everyone had a great time and you guys all made it fun and enjoyable for me. I hope to see you all again next season. This next season should start around the beginning of March, so keep an eye out on the website and on facebook for more information on the next season and when registration opens.

The winner of the playoff of nights was ECU, so congrats to them for taking home the trophy. Hopefully they will be back next season to defend their title.

   I have encluded both nights in this email because I wanted to make sure to cover everything and not leave anything out. So below you will find the standing for both nights, the playoff schedule will be the same each night as it is based on seeding. If you have any specific questions please just let me know. At the bottom of this email is the playoff bracket (i hope it worked), and playoffs are Tues 11/30 and Wed 12/1, depending on your normal night. Please be there on time so we can get started right at 630pm. Basically Team 6 plays 4 and team 5 plays 3, teams 1 and 2 play the winners.

    On Tuesday 12/7, the bottom 3 teams from both sets of playoffs will play each other, and on Wed 12/8 the top 3 teams after each playoffs will play each other. Again if you can't make it, I'm sorry, but this is an extra night and it is just for fun. If you don't have a full team but you have a few friends that want to help fill in your team you can go ahead and bring them along as well. So the losers of the 2nd round games will have to play each other to determine who is the #3 ranked team. If there is time, the losers of the 1st round games can play to determine who is #5 and #6 (if there is time or interest). If you know for a fact no one on your team will be able to make the games on Dec 7-8 please let me know.

     Just a head up. Next season will most likely be 2 nights again as well, just like this season due to the weather and lack of a 3rd boards at least to start. We will most like start either the last week of Feburary or the 1st week of March. Registration will either open the end of Decemeber or the beginning of January. Keep an eye out on Facebook or at www.dccornhole.org for more information. So start asking around and getting your team all ready for the next season.
